Paul Rodney Herring, 78, of Simpson, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Paul was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, on November 9, 1945, to Issac Herring of Mississippi and Ruby Crager Herring of Alco, Louisiana.

Paul is survived by his son, Paul R. Herring, of League City, Texas, and daughter, Paula R. Mankel, of Silver Cliff, Colorado. Paul was grandfather to four and great-grandfather to four.

Paul's visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Labby Memorial Chapel of Leesville, located at 601 S. Fourth St., Leesville, LA 71446. The funeral service will be on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Labby Memorial Chapel, and Interment will follow at Comrade Cemetery in Simpson, Louisiana.
