Funeral Service for John Oscar Taylor, 71 of DeRidder, LA, will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, 2:00 PM, at Rosepine First United Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Gary Bankson and Bro. Damon Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Rosepine Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA and Wednesday, February 20, 2013, 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church in Rosepine.

John was born in Mississippi and lived in Beauregard Parish for 40 years. He was a member of Rosepine First United Pentecostal Church. John was a hard worker and a wonderful provider.

Survivors include Wilma Foster Taylor of DeRidder, LA; one son, John Roy Taylor of DeRidder, LA; two daughters, Doris Doyle and husband Leland of DeRidder, LA and Angela Mullens and husband James of Sugartown, LA; one brother, Wiley Fletcher and wife Marilyn of Rosepine, LA and 5 grandchildren.
