Funeral service for Albert Ray Krueger, 56, of DeRidder, LA, will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Christway Church in DeRidder, LA, with Rev. Kennis Smith and Rev. Vic Warrick officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in DeRidder, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Mr. Krueger passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012, at the LSU Medical Center, Shreveport, LA.

Visitation will be held from 6PM until 9PM, Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Christway Church in DeRidder and Wednesday, 8AM until the time of the service at the Church.

Ray was born on December 12, 1955, to Albert Krueger and Mary Stone Krueger in DeRidder, LA. He lived in DeRidder most of his life except for 10 years where he lived in Iowa. He was formerly employed as a painter. Ray was a member of Christway Church where he was very involved by serving the church. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing and especially loved his grandchildren.

Ray is survived by his wife, Deborah J. Krueger; daughter, Jessica Shirley; brother Raymond Cockrell; sister, Jane Jarrell, all of DeRidder, LA and 3 grandchildren, Haley Fusilier, Jordan Shirley and Tripp Shirley.
